And even MORE from the new Stamping Bella release...

Hi Lovelies..

I'm back yet again with more cards using the fabulous new images from Stamping Bella that were released last week.

Today's first card uses Simone Loves Strawberries....  but I turned my strawberries into pink chocolate truffles...  I could almost taste them as I coloured them - my mouth was watering!

I made a shaker card using the Mama Elephant Tri Window Cover Die..  and used the sentiment inside one of the windows.  Believe it or not, the sentiment is centred, but because of the angle of the photograph, it appears not to be!

Then for my second make, I used the fabulous Curvy Girl With Good Balance - isn't she just fabulous there balancing on her scales??  I think I'll be doing a bit of that in the near future, as, like all of us, I've eaten lots over Christmas.

Hope you like my makes today - and that you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog and the Sistahood Facebook page for more inspiration.  And if you're really quick - you can still get 20% discount store wide at Stamping Bella!  But the offer ends 1 January.

Now - I'd just like to wish you all a wonderful New Year - and to thank you for all the comments and love you've left for me this year...  I enjoy reading each and every one - they provide me with so much encouragement!

Curvy Girl!

Hello Lovelies...

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season..  we were very lucky to have all the family with us to celebrate..  and even though I'm not totally back to 100% healthwise, I LOVED having them here!

Now - have you seen the brand new gorgeous stamps from Stamping Bella that were released yesterday?? They really are amazing and I love each and every one.  There is a fabulous new character - Curvy Girl - she is awesome!

Now you may wonder why my photos aren't as clear as usual.... well, it's to try to combat some copying that's going on by unscrupulous companies that are stealing artwork....  but be sure, when you order genuine Stamping Bella Rubber Stamps from the official suppliers - you are getting the very best there is and that your stamps will provide years and years of perfection in stamping!

The other thing to mention - OK SHOUT - it that until January 1st, you can get 20% off the whole store at Stamping Bella.....  INCLUDING the fabulous new release!  So what are you waiting for???? Click on the image below to go straight there!

Happy Christmas!!!

Hi Lovelies...

OK, I'm back... not quite up to full strength yet as the operation I had took more getting over than I thought it would.  But I did manage to do a little colouring this week..  and here's the result.

This Santa is a freebie from Create a Smile Stamps - he's a joy to colour.  I've got to credit the lovely Anita Madden for the design inspiration as my mojo has taken a holiday, so thanks Anita!

And.... I had been meaning to make these Christmas gnomes for a little while, so I did a bit of pom-pom making while I've been recuperating - I love how they turned out!  A very simple small white pom-pom, a scrap of felt, a wooden bead for the nose, and little tiny woollen bobbles for the top of their hats...  done!

Thank you all for visiting my blog over this last year and leaving me such lovely comments....  each and every one is appreciated.

Now - I'd love to wish you and your families a very, very Happy Christmas - and here's to a wonderful 2019!

Santa is on his way....

Hi Peeps...

A real quickie from me today because as most of you know, I've been in hospital (and maybe still am as I'm scheduling this post!)

But I couldn't let Bellarific Friday go by without making a quick card using the fabulous Santa Sleigh Silhouette from Stamping Bella.

I masked a strip and blended some Distress Inks to give the night sky, also masking a moon.  I then stamped the sleigh in Versamark, before embossing with black glossy embossing powder.  I added lots of white gel pen dots to create the snow, after first sprinkling water over the Distress Ink background.

I'm afraid I can't remember where the sentiment is from, but I thought it was just right to finish off this quickie.

Hope you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see what my lovely fellow teamies have come up with, and also to the Sistahood Facebook page to join in the fun there and share your creations - we love to see them!

Season to Sparkle

Hi There Lovelies...

Today my card is celebrating the new November release at All Dressed Up.  I'm using 'Season to Sparkle' - which is perfect for any big occasion - and obviously is right up my street as it lends itself so beautifully to pink!

I went for more muted pinks this time - rather than strong pinks - as I wanted to create a delicate image (so as not to break her cocktail glass of course!).

Card Info:
Die - MFT Double Stitched Rectangle (altered to make longer)
Sentiment - Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler
Paper - Anna Marie Designs
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20

Fa La La...!

Hi Peeps...

I'm back today with a couple of CAS cards...  hopefully elegant in their style!

I used some Christmas Accents (mistletoe and holly) from the Digi Stamp Boutique - which has now sadly closed.  I coloured them with Copics and fussy cut them ready to add to my cards.

I then used an embossing folder for the main section, and mounted that onto gold mirri card with a border just showing.  The Fa La La word die is from Stamping Bella, and the Merry Christmas die is from Simon Says Stamp.

Two more in my ready to send pile!

I need to be prepared this year, as I have to go into hospital in a week or so to have a hysterectomy.  So, I'm a bit scared at the moment, and am trying to use my card-making as a distraction. I am told that I'll need to rest throughout December - they say 6 weeks recovery..  so I'm currently training my lovely man in the finer points of housework!

Big hugs

Mwaaaaaah!

Hi Peeps...

OK.... yes it's pink!!!  Today's Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella has us Babes using Edna...   she has such SASS!  Of course, she had to be pink....... and of course, she had to have lots of bling!!

I used one of the fabulous word dies from Stamping Bella too - a perfect kiss from this gorgeous girl!

I created the background using Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry, sponged onto watercolour card... then sprayed with water to give the textured effect.  Then I diecut the frame, backed with the acetate, then using double sided foam tape (cut thin!), mounted it onto my background (after adding the sequins of course).

Stamp - Stamping Bella Meet Edna (cut it out die also available)
