Hi all....

How're you doin??

Today this card could be my last challenge card as DT for Tiddly Inks...  (sniff)...  I have re-applied in the new DT call - but there are so many wonderful entries that it's totally understandable for Christy to give others this fabulous opportunity....  I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed playing with these images!  This will no doubt continue - as I have endless images in my collection - I've always adored Tiddly Inks - and am a little in love with Wryn!

Soooo  as the new challenge theme is -

Tent time....

Hi Peeps...

A quickie from me this morning on a little card I made yesterday...  After seeing my lovely blogging friend Kat's fabulous tent card a little while back - I decided it was time for me to give it a go.  I didn't realise how easy it was!

The image is one off the Little Fairies sheet from LOTV - so many on that sheet to choose from - and it took very little colouring.  Then the rest has to be self-explanatory....  you can see from the pics how it looks from all angles!  If you want me to, I'll do a quick video tutorial - just let me know.

The tent style really solves the 'flop' of cards that fold at the top (know what I mean?) - but obviously the message from the sender has to be written on the back.  I left this one 'sentiment-less' (like most of my cards!) so it can be used for any occasion.

Materials:
Image - LOTV Little Fairies
Paper - Nitwits Digi
Dies: Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped Circle
Flower and Leaf Punches
Colouring - Copics
Pinks: RV91, R81/83
Shading N0/1/Blender Pen
Skin and Hair as usual
Gems and Glitter

Hope you all have a lovely week... the sun is shining here but it's chilly!!

Big hugs

Seaside wishes!

Hi Peeps....

Hope you're all OK - big hugs to you if not..

Time for my Whimsie Doodles Inspiration post..  I've used Beach Hat Ava and created a little scene...

Now, when I chose this little lady to use from the Summer Fun collection, the sun was shining brightly - and I could have gone straight to the beach with her and played in the sand.... but I'm afraid I wouldn't have looked as good as her in my swimsuit and hat.... for a start, mine ISN'T pink (believe it or not! LOL)

I paper pieced her hat, bag and swimsuit - after finding a scrap of paper with a tiny print in my bit box.

Materials:
Paper - a scrap from my bit box - and some blue Bazzill dotty embossed
Dies: Die-namics Rounded Banner Stax and Lil' Inkers Sun
Sentiment - LOTV Set 26 Simply Sophisticated
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Hair - E50/34/57
Sand - E41/42/33
Pinks - RV91/93/95, R81/83
Sky - B0000/000/Blender Pen

Hope you like what I did with her!

And of course, now the sun has gone behind the clouds in the UK... and there is even some snow forecast in the next few days!!  Can you believe that??

Big hugs

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

Hope you've been enjoying the glorious sunshine we've had here in the UK for the last couple of days.... my lovely OH has had a few days holiday, so we've been catching up with jobs in the garden, then I think we'll be off out later today and for the next couple days!

Today I'm here with my Fabby Friday card for Tiddly Inks.  I decided to use this wonderful new image from Christy - it's for Autism Awareness.

I promise!

Make it Sparkle!!

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

Well I'm well and truly back in my lovely PINK zone today.... with our new challenge at In The Pink!  Our theme is...

MAKE IT SPARKLE!

I don't know about you, but it's not that often that I make a card and LOVE it straight away.... but this one I did... I think I want to BE that fairy with the gorgeous pink hair...  and to be able to use as much sparkly stuff as I liked... well, I was in my element..

I chose to use this lovely little fairy from Make it Crafty - she's called Vixie... isn't she just the most gorgeous fairy you ever did see???  I may be wrong in calling her a fairy.... I think she's probably a pixie with those long pointy ears..  but she has wings, so in my world that makes her a fairy!

Hair RV91/93/95
